The Oak Treehouse Nursery


Within this room we accomodate up to 18 children, and have a mixed age group where the children have a sense of being part of a family.
There is a separate area for babies that are not yet toddling where they can roll, crawl and explore about having naps when they need them.


Activities and toys are freely available to all children with lots of free choice. We plan activities within the guidelines of the new EYFS, giving children the chance to explore and experiment.


Staff interact with children encouraging and supporting them where needed. We use Treasure Baskets and touch baskets to encourage exploration, smell feel, colour and sound and the freedom of movement inside and outside to provide them with varied experiences.
